Janis Maureen “Jan” Peabody, 46, of English, Indiana, died Sunday, January 24, 2016, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. She was born June 25, 1969, in Corydon, Indiana to Gloria Weathers Bullington and the late Jesse Bullington. She was employed at Mainsource Bank in Marengo, was a member of the Marengo United Methodist Church, was a volunteer for the Crawford County Food Bank and was an avid Mary Kay consultant.
Survivors include her husband, Dwight Peabody; her son, Evan Peabody of English; her mother of Marengo and many loving extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Marengo United Methodist Church. Bro. Philo Jones will officiate. Burial will be in El Bethel Cemetery near Milltown.
Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the church.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Conquer Chiari Foundation, 320 Osprey Court, Wexford, Pennsylvania 15090, or to the Marengo United Methodist Church.
Pallbearers will be Dylan Allen, Will Wyman, Nicholas Lahue, Caleb Oglesbey, and Brandon & Nicholas Haverstock.
