Tharold Gene Beaver, 77, of Marengo, IN died Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN. He was born on December 7, 1937 in Stella, Missouri to the late Kenneth and Wilda Cox Beaver.
He was former owner/operator of Utility Clearing Service for 30 yrs. and co-owner of Home Town Gift and Variety in Marengo, IN. He was a member and elder of the Hillview Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Edna M. Stewart Beaver of Marengo, IN; a son, Rick Beaver (Donna) of Marengo, IN; daughters, Tammy Broughton (Kevin) of Marengo, IN and Diann Parr (Steven) of Leavenworth, IN; brothers, Jerry Beaver (Violet) of Wright City, MO and Howard Beaver (Judy) of Nesho, MO; sister, Janice Sanders of Carthage, MO; grandchildren, Rikki Hanger (Joey), Tori Beaver, Stephanie Beaver, Christopher Broughton (Trena), Chase Broughton, Kara Canary (Joe), and Kayla Parr; great granchildren, Gavin Hanger, Aria Hanger, Baylor Broughton, and Blaine Broughton.
The funeral service will be on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 1:30 pm at the Hillview Christian Church.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 2-8 pm and after 11:30 am until time of the service on Sunday all at Hillview Christian Church, 4180 Hwy. 64, Marengo, IN 47140.
Pastor Earl Mullins and Bro. Jeff Roll will officiate the service.
Interment will follow in the El Bethel Cemetery near Milltown, IN.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the Hillview for Hope c/o Relay for Life and/or American Heart Association.
