I know this is late coming, but I just went looking for Skip again as I have on and off over the years. He and I were good friends in Frankfurt, Germany in the early 1970s.

He stood beside me on a mountain top at a music festival when misery was my constant companion and said, "Do what you have to do to get free". I dropped my drugs on the ground and left. I gave my life to Jesus.

For decades, I have prayed for Skip and hoped he would find peace in this life.

I loved him like a brother.
