Patricia F. Archibald Highfill, 65, of Eckerty, IN died on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN.  She was born on June 14, 1949 near Leavenworth, IN to the late Shelby and Alice Pearl Bye Archibald.

 

She was a homemaker.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert S. Highfill; a daughter, Rebecca Ann Highfill; brothers, Earl and Bob Archibald; sisters, Alice Fern Archibald, Dorothy Noblitt, Thelma Seacat, and Daisy Tucker.

 

She  is survived by a son, Robert D. Highfill of English, IN; brothers, James O. Archilbald of New York and Don Archibald of English, IN; sisters, Betty Conrad of English, IN and Sylvia Roberts of Jeffersonville, IN; granddaughters, Kyanne N. Highfill and Keeley S. Highfill and many nieces and nephews.

 

The funeral service will be on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, IN.

 

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Friday, September 12, 2014 and after 9:00 am until time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

 

Rev. Philo Jones will officiate the service.

 

Interment will follow in the El Bethel Cemetery near Milltown, IN.

 

Brown Funeral Home in Milltown is entrusted with the arrangements.

So sorry for your loss...I have a lot of great memories of her. My boys and I always called her Aunt Pat. She will be greatly missed. May God comfort you all in your time of sorrow....Love, Evanelle

May the God of all peace and comfort be with you as you go through this difficult time. Patty was one of a kind. She was especially close to my sister Brenda Colber (and Harry Wright) and my brother Jim Seger and his wife Marsha. May God be with you and may you feel His loving hand on you. It was an honor for her to let me call her sister.
