Clara M. Bye, 71, of Petersburg, IN and a native of Milltown, IN died on Friday, July 18, 2014 at the Jasper Memorial Hospital in Jasper, IN. She was born on April 3, 1943 near Milltown, IN to the late Ralph B. and Fern M. Bowman Bye.
She was a retired CNA for Petersburg Healthcare. She attended Petersburg Holiness Church.
She is survived by her brothers: Roger Bye of Paoli, IN, Mark Bye of Corydon, IN, Paul Bye of Marengo, IN, Charles Bye of Milltown, IN, Wayne Bye of Oakland City, IN, Ralph Junior Bye of Post Falls, Idaho, Fredrick Bye of Montgomery, AL, Ellis Franklin Bye of Corydon, IN, Melvin Bye of Corydon, IN, and Clarence Bye of Marengo, IN; Sisters: Elsie Lone of English, IN, Alice Drury of Milltown, IN, Connie Roby of Marengo, IN, Bonnie Berry of Milltown, IN, Dorothy McDaniel of Marengo, IN, Mabel Williams of Corydon, IN, Ruth Cobb of Marengo, IN, Rachel Nickelson-Wagner of Marengo, IN, and Virginia Bye of Milltown, IN; and several nieces and nephews survive.
The funeral service will be on Wednesday; July 23, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Marengo Wesleyan Church.
Visitation will be on Monday; July 21, 2014 from 3-8 pm at the Petersburg Holiness Church in Petersburg, IN; Tuesday; July 22, 2014 from 2-8 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, IN and on Wednesday; July 23, 2014 from 10:00 am until time of the service at the Marengo Wesleyan Church.
Bro. Chad Searls will officiate the service.
Interment will be in the Pilot Knob Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be given to the Petersburg Holiness Church or to the Pilot Knob Cemetery Fund.
