Warren E. "Red" Walton, 88, of Depauw, IN died on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born on January 6, 1925 in Milltown, IN to the late Albert and Emma Trobaugh Walton.
He was a former employee of General Electric in Louisville, KY. He was a WWII Army Veteran and was a former commander for the Milltown American Legion Post #332 and was a former volunteer fireman for the Milltown Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Dinklocker Walton of Depauw, IN; son, Mark Walton (Janeen) of Milltown, IN; daughters, Peggy Pickerill (Ken) of Corydon, IN, Mary Ann Heuglin (Pat) of Milltown, IN, Tamera Austin of New Albany, IN; a brother, Robert Walton of Ottawa, IL; and grandchildren, Adam Pickerill of Lexington, KY and Eric Pickerill of Corydon, IN.
The funeral service will be on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, IN.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 2, 2013 from 2-8 pm and after 11:00 am until time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in the Milltown Cemetery.
