Loren F. Hughes, 82, passed from this life on November 26, 2013 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash. He was born on September 22, 1931 in Marengo, IN to the late Mills and Eschol Eddleman Hughes.
He was a former superintendent for Hyrock Products for 40 years. He was an Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Evelyn Grant.
He is survived by his wife, Eloise A. Hammond Hughes of Marengo, IN; a son, Jim F. Hughes of Marengo, IN; a daughter, Norma Barrett of Marengo, IN; a sister, Janet Johnson (Lee) of Milltown, IN; a brother, Howard Hughes (Carol) of Fredericktown, OH; and grandchildren, Jessica Jones (Reuben), James Hughes (Nikki); and 4 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, Milltown, IN.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 4-8 pm and after 10:00 am until time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
Bro. Loren Sweeney will officiate the service.
Interment will follow in the Marengo Cemetery.
