James Dane "Tank" Kennedy, 48, of Milltown, IN died on Friday, August 2, 2013 near Depauw, IN due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash.  He was born on July 9, 1965 in Corydon, IN to Sue Ellen Roggenkamp Voyles and the late James Owen Kennedy.

He was in maintenance at the Berkshire Pointe mobile home park, served in the Army and was a member of the Milltown American Legion Post #332.

He is survived by his Fiancee, Heather Biddle of Milltown, IN; his mother and step-father, Sue Ellen and Alan Voyles of New Albany, IN; a son, James Anthony Kennedy of Scottsburg, IN; daughters, Ashley Nicole Kennedy of Sanford, NC, Olivia Carrol and Scarlett Sullivan both of Milltown, IN; brothers, Martin Kennedy (Vella)  of Marengo, IN and Shawn Darrin Kennedy (Elizabeth) of Corydon, IN; 1 grandchild and 2 nieces and 3 nephews.

The funeral service will be on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 5:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, IN.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the funeral home.

Cremation will follow the service.

Larry Crosby will officiate the service.

Brown Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.

Heather, we are so sorry to hear about Tank. I can't imagine what you are going thru. I just keep thinking about how you were telling me about him and how you just lit up! Although I didn't know him, I know he was a good man if you loved him. You, your and Tank's family are in our prayers. I will be thinking about you.
