Willard Melvin House, 86, passed from this life on July 6, 2013 at his residence. He was born on September 23, 1926 in Crawford County, IN to the late Otto and Anna Zahn House.
He was a former supervisor for Keller Manufacturing and was a Army Veteran having served in World War II. He was a former member of the Crawford County Saddle Club and loved spending time with his grandchildren, the outdoors, and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Elmer, Robert, Emery Otto Jr., and Franklin House; and a granddaughter, Angela House.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Miller House of Leavenworth; sons, Danny House of Marengo and Curtis House of Depauw, IN; daughters, Debbie Jones of Milltown, Mary Jo Walker of Sellersburg, and Rhonda Harris of Ludwice, Georgia; and 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, IN.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 4-8 pm and after 9:00 am until time of the service on Wednesday.
Bro. Sam Bockting will offiiciate.
Interment will follow in the Everdon Cemetery.
