Kara Ann Denton, 8, died at the home of her father on February 7, 2013.  She was born on December 15, 2004 in Corydon, IN to her surviving mother, Rebecca Ann Richardson and the late John Joseph Denton.

She was a second grade student at the Marengo Elementary School and was a member of the Cedar Street Baptist Church in Marengo, IN.

Surviving are her mother, Rebecca Ann Denton of Marengo, IN; brothers, Thomas Albertson of Georgetown, IN and Terry Albertson of Jeffersonville, IN; and her grandparents, Dorothy Richardson of Marengo, IN and John and Shirley Denton of English, IN.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Marengo Elementary School Gymnasium, 177 S. Second Street, Marengo, IN  47140.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 11:00 am until time of the service at 2:00 pm at the school.

Bro. Sam Bockting and Bo. Toney McCutcheon will officiate the service.

Interment will follow in the Milltown Cemetery.
